Senior Army Instructor

Major (Ret.) Gilbert T. Gozalo

         Major (Ret.) Gilbert T. Gozalo served honorably in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps for 22 years where he held numerous leadership positions from Squad Leader, Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Company Commander to Supply and Service Officer.

 

         MAJ (Ret.) Gozalo was assigned and deployed to numerous parts of the United States and around the world including the Philippines, Diego Garcia, Thailand, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Korea, and Hawaii.

 

         His last assignment while in the military was the Deputy Officer, Supply and Services, G4, I Corps Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. MAJ (Ret.) Gozalo Retired in June 2011. In October 2011. He became an ROTC Senior Military Science Instructor with the University of Washington, and then became the Enrollment Scholarship and Recruitment Officer with Pacific Lutheran University, WA.

 

         MAJ (Ret.) Gozalo is married and has 2 children.He now servers as Westside’s 22nd Wolfpack Battalion JROTC Senior Army Instructor and the Westside JROTC Director of Curriculum.

Army Instructor

 Command Sergeant Major Hai H.

    Command Sergeant Major (Retd)Dang has served in numerous positions in the Artillery field from powderman to Command Sergeant Major. Sergeant Major Dang's assignments include 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery, 7th Infantry Division(Light); 1st Battalion, 39th Field Artillery, 18th Airborne Corp; 1st Battalion, 22nd Field Artillery later redesignated as 2nd Battalion, 1st Field Artillery, 1st Armor Division (Mech); 1st Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment as a Drill Sergeant; 1st Battalion, 8th Field Artillery, 25th Infantry Division (Light);3rd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery, 4th Infantry Division (Mech); 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division (Mech); 2nd and 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT); 18th Field Artillery Brigade; 1st, 9th Field Artillery, 3rd Infantry Division (Mech), 5th Battlefield Coordination Detachment, 3rd, 7th Field Artillery, 25th Infantry Division (Light), and retired from the military on December 2014 to the city of Houston, Texas. In January 2015, CSM(r) Dang begin teaching JROTC at Bellaire High School.

 

     CSM(Retd)Hai H. Dang's military education includes NCOES from Primary Noncommissioned Officer Course to the United States Army Sergeants Major Course (Class #56). He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College and an associate degree from University of Maryland. 

 

     CSM(Retd) Hai H. Dang  married  Thuy K. Le and has 2 children. Now serves as Westside's 22nd Wolfpack Battalion JROTC senior army Instructor.
